How can you make a difference?

  • Ensure that critical information affecting children and young people is disseminated to policy and decision makers, public watchdogs such as the media and civil society, and the public, with the aim of mobilizing political and public support for children;
  • Promote the active engagement of adolescents and young people in shaping their futures by facilitating the growth of equity-focused social innovations.
  • Henceforth, the Communications Team requires an enthusiastic, hard-working, and determined intern who will assist in creating evidenced-based communication materials that increase visibility, to leverage public advocacy and supporter engagement for the promotion, protection and fulfilment of children’s rights to ultimately increase the share of voice on Zimbabwean children’s rights.

Top four individual work-plan deliverables for the INTERN:

  • Support to the team in the design and implementation of the Communications Strategy Under the guidance of the Communications Specialist
  • Provide logistical support for all public advocacy initiatives and events.
  • Draft human-interest stories, take photographs for events and donor reports, social media and other advocacy platforms, facilitate creation and maintain archive of External Communication and C4D IEC-SBCC print ready materials
  • Production of multimedia content for various platforms
