Job Description

Description of task

Under the general supervision of the coordinator of the Stabilization Service Center or his duly authorized representatives, the community UNV will contribute to the implementation of stabilization in the localities of assignment. He / she will specifically perform the following tasks:

  • For the establishment or operation of Stabilization Committees and their internal structures in the areas of security coordination, the rule of law, access to justice, protection of human rights and the fight against guaranteed gender-based violence;
  • Provide the necessary assistance for the establishment of a functional alert and monitoring mechanism to protect the young generations and communities against the risk of enlistment in extremist movements and radicalization Work in close collaboration with customary leaders;
  • Ensure the daily monitoring of community infrastructure works and support the populations in the sustainable development of livelihoods;
  • Support the Stabilization Committees in the sustainable management of community infrastructure
  • Support the establishment and strengthening of early warning clubs;
  • Ensure the collection of data in the areas that will be indicated and using tools that will be provided;
  • Qualifications / Requirements
  • Required degree level: Secondary education
  • Education - Additional Comments:
  • Hold at least the first cycle study certificate or any other equivalent diploma. Higher degrees would be an important asset

Required experience: 12 Months

  • Be of Chadian nationality;
  • Be aged 18 at the time of submitting your application;
  • Hold at least the first cycle study certificate or any other equivalent diploma. Higher diplomas would be an important asset;
