The Role:

  • This role is fundamental to the success of our strategy - to embed corporate responsibility activities within teams working on a number of issues across Oxfam.
  • As a corporate responsibility manager, you will provide specialist advice to teams, focusing on labour issues, to ensure they have the tools they need to balance their team’s commercial needs with our corporate responsibility commitments. In line with Oxfam’s priorities on Women, Work, Water and Inequality, the labour rights priorities relevant to this job are Wages, Modern Slavery and Freedom of Association.
  • You will be working as part of a small team to pilot new initiatives and translate our campaigning messages into implementation in our own supply chains, as well as supporting the Head of Corporate Responsibility to develop the strategic direction of the team.

What we are looking for:

  • As a corporate responsibility manager, you will have excellent organisational & prioritising skills with excellent attention to detail and a pragmatic tenacity to drive projects forward given the time and resource available. You will also have good understanding of purchasing and supply chain management and the labour rights issues involved in global supply chains.
  • You will be fully IT literate as well as you will have proven ability to work collaboratively and influence colleagues with differing priorities, skills, and knowledge of issues.

  • Salary: £30,375-£39,380 gross per annum depending on experience
