As an integral part of Room to Read’s APAC development team this role will manage the Asia Pacific Regional Board representing Room to Read in Hong Kong. You will lead a small local team and volunteer chapter to drive fundraising growth from the current $2M-2.5MM baseline annual revenue through prospecting and cultivating donors.
Reporting internationally via Australia and working with the Regional Development Board you will utilise sound fundraising, marketing and communication principles to oversee and grow current annual revenue goals across HNW and UHNW individual donors, foundations, corporations, the annual fund, legacies, signature events and cause-marketing partnerships.
You currently hold a senior position in an NGO, NFP, philanthropy, education or like-minded corporate, with excellent written and spoken communications skills in English. You have a proven track record in ‘making the ask’ in the Hong Kong charitable and corporate giving environment in securing five to seven figure major gifts, sponsorships, grants or quality sales.
