Job Description


The development facilitator is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the program in the targeted communities, for planning and managing the activities included in the logical frameworks of the CEPA and Child Survival projects in compliance with LEAP 3 standards, of the organization's strategy and project models approved by the National Office, It will ensure the integration of community entities, leaders, households for community ownership of the various activities carried out on site targeting the well-being of children and to im lioration conditions of existence of the most vul rable. He will lead the implementation of sponsorship according to the required standards while ensuring that all RC benefit from the standard minimum package (10) defined by World Vision



  • Ensure the sponsorship activities, in its area of ​​intervention, in compliance with the standards defined by the national office
  • Ensure the conduct of activities in compliance with the technical standards defined by the partnership, namely: LEAP (DIP, ITT), project models, DPA, program approaches


  • Establish an effective coordination, management and supervision system leading to the existence of strong effective and efficient community networks.
  • Monitor the proper use, sound and transparent management of the resources made available and of volunteers according to the standards and principles of the institution.

Networking and Advocacy: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local actors, other NGOs, young people, GACs, women's groups (mothers' club, mother leaders, network of churches, school directors, etc.) to ensure better use of resources and achievement of indicators of children's well-being and community ownership.

Monitoring evaluation reporting:Lead the planning, reporting and evaluation process of activities carried out at field level.


University degree in social sciences, project management, development studies or any other studies in a related field.

E additional working xperiences required minimum to qualify for this position:

  • Experience working in an isolated environment and ability to live in community;
  • Experience in conflict management;
  • Experience in monitoring and managing budgets.
  • Experience in staff management and ability to orient them towards results

Preferential additional work experience for this position:

  • Project Management Experience
  • Rural work experience

Language requirements as a minimum to qualify for this position:

  • Excellent ability in French and Creole
  • English and / or Spanish an asset

Preferred skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Good organizational, management and planning skills; respect of deadlines and is able to manage a large workload;
  • Being honest, courteous, cooperative, Mature professionally with a practical spirit, demonstrates flexibility and independence in his work.
