Director People & Culture – (Human Resources)

World Vision has been in Sri Lanka since 1977 and currently works through 35 development and relief programmes in 20 Districts across the country.
This position will be part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and will be reporting directly to WV Lanka National Director with matrix relationship to the Regional People & Culture Director. This position will be based in Colombo with travel requirements (30%) to the field offices within Sri Lanka.
Successful candidate will provide strategic thought leadership, coordination, advice and oversight of the Organizational Development and Human Resources across WV Lanka with the aim of optimizing performance, enhancing the organizational culture and ensuring that Organizational Development and HR strategy is aligned with World Vision International Partnership and South Asia & Pacific Regional Strategy.
He/She will work closely with the People & Culture team members and will take the lead to achieve quality results and services in enabling various functions within the national office. Must think clearly, deeply, broadly and inspire innovation and change. Must be capable of building collaborative relationships with individuals/groups in order to achieve WV Lanka’s mission and goals within partnership standards and procedures.
