Job Description

A Donor Relations Specialist has ongoing engagement with an already established group of donors. As part of a dynamic team, the role is to develop and strengthen partnerships between the existing donors and Food for the Hungry by keeping donors informed of the variety of FH projects worldwide. It is through these developed relationships that the Donor Relations Specialist, or Rep, invites donors to participate in deeper levels of partnership with FH. The position is well suited for someone looking for a flexible work schedule.


  • Interact with and foster relationships with enrolled donors about Food for the Hungry’s Heartbeat (Values, Vision and Purpose), programs and partnership opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify, cultivate and invite active mid-level donors to increased levels of giving and partnership.
  • Knowledge Sharing with Strategic Partnerships team to stimulate continued growth and development.
