Pact is recruiting a Finance and Operations Director for an upcoming USAID-funded governance project in Nepal. This project will primarily provide technical assistance and capacity building to the Government of Nepal (GoN) in the transition from a unitary state to a federation of provinces and to enhance citizen participation in and oversight of local governance.
The Finance and Operations Director will be responsible for the overall financial management of the project and will be accountable for the project’s effective use of funds and logistical planning, to ensure operational and programmatic efficiencies within the contextual operating fluidity present in Nepal. S/he will oversee the effective and appropriate use of financial resources of the project, and develop effective mechanisms to monitor the expenditures. S/he will ensure implementation of administrative, financial, and human resource policies in line with USG regulations. S/he will ensure the sound financial management of all sub-grants administered to implementing partners, ensuring compliance with USG requirements. This position is contingent upon award of funds.
