The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance, and measuring progress. It is led by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), in collaboration with its co-founders UNEP and the World Bank and Charter Members. Overall Objective: As global attention increasingly turns to the critical role of finance in addressing the climate and biodiversity crises, this role offers an exciting opportunity to position the GLF and its partners at the forefront of the conversation on financing nature-based solutions. We are looking for a proactive, collaborative, and creative team player who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. The sustainable finance communications consultant can seamlessly combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the finance and private sector landscape and understands how to translate complex topics into compelling narratives. Experience in event communications is essential, as the consultant will also play a critical role in shaping the outreach around flagship events such as the Investment Case by the Luxembourg–GLF Finance for Nature Platform.
