Job Description

PATH India team is seeking a Finance Officer responsible for supporting country level budgeting and forecasting processes as well as providing timely financial reporting and analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis. Finance Officer will play an important role in anchoring the risk management process & lead in Bids and Proposals. This position shall report to the Director Finance and Operations.

  • Assist with the development of country level budget and forecast including Quarterly Budget Reviews
  • Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports from Business World and conduct financial analyses to support decision-making
  • Develop and maintain key financial reports for country performance, driving organizational accountability
  • Act as a thought partner to highlight Risks Issues , provide guidance and support internal / external partners capacity building
  • Collaborate across other functions within PATH India
  • Other tasks as assigned

Required Experience

  • Chartered Accountant, or, Post graduate degree in management, finance, accounting, economics
  • At least 8 years of total experience with 2 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, budget management, sub-recipient management
  • Experience working with for-profit and not for profit organizations will be valuable
  • Ability to learn, adopt and champion new business systems and processes
  • Advanced skill with Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, access)
  • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools—particularly PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint—as well as the ability to learn other software tools readily and implement them successfully
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail with good follow-through
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism

  • Must have legal authorization to work in India
  • Familiarity with Unit 4 Business World or similar ERP systems a plus
