The role is based in the Treasury and Banking Unit of the Finance Division. The Treasury and Banking Unit is responsible for ensuring the safekeeping of FAO’s financial assets, its liquidity, funding and correct functioning of its banking network.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor FAO liquidity and disbursement pattern, liaising with SCC and other CSF units if necessary.
• Assist with payment activities and check correct funding of accounts.
• Review banking agreements, fee agreements, operational documents supporting FAO’s banking operations as needed.
•  Liaise with external financial service providers and colleagues dealing with payments and banking operations on behalf of the Treasury and Banking Unit.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reporting and reconciliations on Treasury activities.
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by Supervisor.
