The Role:

  • We are looking for a Functional Support Analyst to join our Supply & Logistics Central Functional Support Team. We are a small team of five staff based in Oxfam head office in Oxford. You will be a key member of our team supporting over 1200 Oxfam GB international programme, logistics and finance staff in the use of our HELIOS supply chain management system.
  • You will lead on user acceptance testing of HELIOS software releases, infrastructure upgrades, and changes to the interfaces with our inhouse ERP system PeopleSoft.
  • You will work with other team members and our external software developers to support end users by investigating issues arising, and designing and specifying solutions for the HELIOS system itself and the related interfaces.

What we are looking for:

Our Functional Support Analyst will require demonstrable ability to:

  • create test cases and carry out user acceptance testing using specific tests and regression test cases to confirm that change requests and bug fixes have been implemented as specified.
  • investigate software issues and work with other team members and software developers to specify change requests and bug fixes.
  • communicate technical information clearly.
  • Experience of similar application systems such as PeopleSoft, MS Dynamics or MS Navision will be very helpful, as will knowledge of test tools and SQL.
