The Fund Raising Specialist (Digital) oversees the acquisition team and manages all marketing activities to facilitate growth through diversified income sources from individual giving. Specific responsibilities will include building and managing end-to-endperformance-based marketing campaigns across a variety of channels to increase conversions in the income funnel, analyzing market trends to inform acquisition efforts,identifying audiences, and monitoring and reporting on campaign performance.

This role is critical in driving UNICEF's growth, enhancing donor acquisition and leading the change to a digital first and audience-centric operation. It requires creative and analytical thinking, and application of various business development and marketing techniques across all channels.

The Fund Raising Specialist (Digital) plays a key role in the Fundraising team, contributing significantly to the development of donor acquisition initiatives under a digital first umbrella that promotes UNICEF's mission and increases donations. While the incumbent should focus on the digital transformation, keeps an overview of other acquisition channels ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience to the donors

Minimum requirements:

Education: 

  • An advanced university degree (Master ’s degree or equivalent) in one of the following fields is required: Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, Management, Business Administration, Commerce, digital marketing, eCommerce.
  • A first University Degree in a relevant field, combined with 2 additional years of professional experience, may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree. 

Work Experience: 

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in advertising, performance marketing, eCommerce, or digital marketing with progressively increasing management responsibilities, including direct responsibility for profit and loss and setting and meeting income targets, is required.
  • Hands-on experience in the management of large annual digital paid-media budgets(e.g., around USD $3M or higher, or comparable scale) is desired.
  • Previous managerial experience of managing a team is essential.

Language Requirements: 

  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
