Job Description

The Opportunity

Save the Children Association (SCA) is transitioning Save the Children International (SCI) - 55 countries and 28 Member organisations on a new global HR system from 2018 to 2020 and the role of Global HR Systems manager is key both in the implementation and ongoing support.

During the life of the project, you will continue to build technical expertise and knowledge of the Oracle Cloud HCM modules (Core, Performance, Talent and Taleo) at Save the Children, within the system implementation and support team. You will have responsibility for also maintaining the legacy HR system during the deployment, as well as other HR systems.

In order to be successful you will bring:

  • A strong background in cloud-based Oracle HR systems support including support, administration and business analysis.
  • Project and change management skills and experience; strong organizational and follow-up skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of HR processes and practices
  • Experience of working in large, complex, global environments
  • Ability to travel occasionally to country offices to support deployment and support
  • On a personal level you will have an energetic and flexible approach, cultural awareness, be personally resilient, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, calm under pressure and excellent interpersonal skills.
