Oxfam is currently looking for problem solver, good communicator with finance, donor reporting and grant management experience to work within the Programme Finance Team.
Oxfam GB’s Programme Strategy and Impact Team (PSIT) has an increasing portfolio of multi-country and strategic programmes funded by institutional donors. Primary donors are DFID, Swedish Sida, EU DevCo and private development foundations such as Gates and IKEA. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist in monitoring, managing and overseeing PSIT’s institutional donors, and to help ensure both their internal and external compliance obligations relating to the receipt and spend of Restricted Income (RI).
What skills & experience are we looking for?
Accountancy qualification - e.g. education to AAT, part-qualified or qualified by experience level
Proven accountancy experience and knowledge of budgeting and reporting
Organises work effectively to meet deadlines
Experience of financial systems and procedures
Success however will not just depend on the technical skills - in a complex and dynamic environment like Oxfam, you will need:
