Tearfund’s Nepal team has an exciting opportunity for a Grants and Information Officer. The Grants and Information Officer will be responsible for coordinating all proposals, including partnership proposals related to the appeal, internal and donor reporting, and project knowledge management systems within the Nepal programme.
This will include working closely with partner staff and Tearfund Staff, Advisors and Managers to draft and edit donor proposals and reports; coordinate compliance with various institutional donor rules, Tearfund policies and Government processes; schedule evaluations; document success stories; lead analysis of field experience to derive lessons learned; write news and prayer letters; and share best practices.
Proven experience with donors is essential for this role, as is experience in grant management, proposal development, donor reporting, communications, monitoring and evaluation, project cycle management and implementation. Applicants will have a graduate degree in a related field or qualification in development, international relations, communications or journalism.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, and representation and networking abilities.
