ICMP is looking for a Head of Program Operations (HPO). The HPO is an exciting new position reporting to the Director-General with the responsibility to manage and implement new and emerging programs with the goal of overseeing the transformation of a project into a long-term sustainable program. You should be a proven leader with an analytical and strategic mind and have extensive experience in project management. Job in Brief :
The HPO will have a diverse portfolio that will transform on a regular basis as new projects develop into programs and new ICMP initiatives begin. The job offers a variety of tasks and responsibilities, the main expectations are the following:
To provide ICMP leadership and organizational guidance as a member of the senior management team
To oversee work planning, budget management, quality control and staffing for early and emerging geographic programs
To recruit, hire, lead and manage a diverse team of mostly remote staff based in various geographic locations and time zones
To provide strategic guidance and support to ICMP’s long term Head of Country Programs to advance program implementation, donor contract compliance, and partnerships in line with the goals and objectives of ICMP’s priorities
Job Qualifications:
Education in Business Administration, Project Management or similar
At least eight years of relevant professional experience in a similar project management role, experience in missing persons is an asset
Exceptional proficiency in written and spoken English, proficiency in a second language is desirable such as Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian or Vietnamese
People and budget management skills
Physical and mental resilience, with the ability to operate effectively in hostile environments and to manage a heathy work-life equilibrium
