Locations: 

One position in each district: Kurnool & Vizianagaram (AP), Hyderabad (Telangana), Raichur (Karnataka) 

Contract Period - 3 month with renewal options
Work hours - 8 hours daily, 6 days a week
CTC - 15,000 INR + Travel/Phone Allowance

About Care Companion Program
The Care Companion Program is an in-hospital program that repositions the family member as a critical component of taking care of the patient. The program was developed by innovators from Stanford University and since 2013 it has touched the lives of more than 400,000 families through 100+ hospitals in India. In partnership with several state governments and Unicef, Yosaid is expanding the CCP program to district hospitals in Karnataka, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.

Job Description
Hospital coordinators visit the partner hospitals and collect patients/families contact details, interview patients during times of major hospitalization so that they can be followed up with post-discharge.
They also conduct phone interviews with families to understand the impact of CCP for improving design. They use simple mobile technologies for quick data-entry.

Coordinator Duties

  • Visit hospital and collect families’ basic delivery information of wards * especially SNCU including phone numbers 
  • Collect families’ contact details and basic information of SNCU admissions 
  • Check phone-number quality 
  • Collect relevant medical chart data 
  • Liaison with hospital staff to collect data in hospital as per evaluation requirements 
  • Report work output as per formats shared 
  • Seek informed consent and conduct in-person Interview families/hospital staff in a respectable way and document/share information collected through interviews 
  • Conduct phone interviews with family members and enter data in SurveyCTO platform
  • Secure tools like phones and headphones; maintain soft-copy records of work done

Required skill set and qualifications

  • Female candidates are preferred. Male candidates from nursing field can apply 
  • Can work in district hospital in Hyderabad, Kurnool, Vizianagaram & Raichur districts 
  • Degree in nursing or social work or medical/ pharmaceutical field with 1+ years work experience 
  • Past experience in conducting one-on-one interviews, preferably health based
  • Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in Telugu (in AP & TL) / Kannada (in KA) & English 
  • Experienced and comfortable using android phones and web browsers.
