OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
The Department, Human Resources and Talent Management (HRT) is responsible for providing a sound, well managed, responsive and efficient organization-wide Human Resources Management strategy and global HR policy and advisory services which support the work of WHO and its Member States, encompassing, but not limited to: HR Policy Development, Organizational Design and Job Classification, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management (including Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Global staffing, Career Development and Training, Rotation and Mobility), application of the UN Common System's Compensation and Benefits, HR Legal Advisory Services, Administration of Justice, Global staff/management relations, and representation of WHO in inter-agency UN Common System HR initiatives.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Under the overall supervision of the Manager, Special HR Initiatives, the incumbent will work in close collaboration with the HR Officer (Global Business Process) to provide operational and HR support to WHO's recruitment and onboarding system (Stellis) to ensure optimal system performance and timely resolution of system issues. The incumbent will also be required to work with HR teams in all major offices, WHO emergency teams/departments and external WHO partners to ensure WHO systems support organizational recruitment and contract administration needs. Close collaboration with the Department of Information and Management Technology (IMT) on projects and technical issues as well as liaison with supporting external technical consultants is required for Stellis, GSM, ECM, and other connected/integrated systems and tools.
