The Human Resources (HR) Analyst is responsible for the seamless implementation of the office's Human Resources (HR) strategies, the effective delivery of HR services and the supervision of the office's HR Unit and Cote d'Ivoire Programs and Projects. He/she interprets and implements HR policies, regulations and procedures, develops internal procedures and provides solutions to complex HR issues. The HR Analyst is responsible for promoting a collaborative, customer-focused work environment and contributing to the enhancement of staff motivation.

You will report to International Operations Manager and will be under the general supervision of the Representative.

The HR Analyst works closely with the other teams of operations, programs, projects of UNFPA, Other Agencies of the United Nations System in Côte d'Ivoire, as well as with the human resources of the implementing partners .

Qualifications and Experience: 


  • Academic training: Hold a university degree (minimum BAC + 3) in Human Resources, Law, Human Rights, or any other university degree in a similar field.  

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Have at least three years' experience in human resources management;
  • Good knowledge of international human resource management standards and procedures;
  • Good knowledge of the national human resources management system and the Ivorian labor code;
  • Have experience in coordination and work with partners including the health system, United Nations system agencies;
  • Have a good command of IT tools and in particular current Microsoft Office software and the principles of Results-Based Management;
  • Having work experience with the United Nations System and NGOs/Associations will be an asset.
  • Relevant experience in national capacity building, targeting policies, laws and strategies for performance management and capacity development.


  • Mastery of the French language, oral and written; good knowledge of English as a working language.
