The Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for the administration and development of the human capital of the IDB Group. The main functions of the department include managing the entire employee lifecycle, overseeing the implementation of the "People Strategy", and implementing programs and methodologies in direct support of IDB’s results-based business model. HRD is also dedicated to implementing its mission to deliver human-centered experiences and strategically partnering with professionals who are passionate about improving lives in Latin America and the Caribbean. 

The team’s mission:

At the Talent Management Division (HRD/TLM), we build strategic partnerships with our clients across our 26 offices in Latin America and the Caribbean, our two regional offices in Asia and Europe, and headquarters, in Washington, D.C.

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Group provides direct services to the Departments of the IDB Group, supporting the entire employee lifecycle from sourcing to retirement (e.g., recruitment, hiring, career development, performance management, rewards and recognition, compensation, benefits services, and payroll).

We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented professional to support the HR Business Partners to strengthen the team’s ability to respond effectively to clients’ needs. 

What you will do:

  • Support the Talent Management Team to identify business challenges and provide data-driven solutions using the Bank’s Analytics & Decision Support Unit’s analytics tools.
  • Track recruitment efforts and provide assistance and information on related matters to track effectiveness and propose necessary adjustments to ensure results.
  • Assist with gathering information and preparing high-quality analysis, pertinent reports, and presentations for the Talent Management Initiatives to help drive HR decisions.
  • Utilize technology and analytical/predictive tools to develop and analyze enterprise-wide personnel, HRD operations, proses, or programs, and other cross-functional data and share information for decision-making processes, as needed.
  • Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends and using statistical analysis to build and identify personnel trends (recruitment, attrition, resignations, promotions).
  • Design high-quality analysis, reporting, and presentations to be delivered to Senior Management periodically and to broader audiences when needed.
  • Summarize written findings and publish results, including graphs, charts, and tables through reports and presentations for internal and external clients.
  • Serve on project teams and executes sets of tasks to complete projects.
  • Investigate data errors, construct queries, audit data, and identify risks to recommend mitigation plans.
  • Analyze current projects and business processes to increase efficiency and impact and identify innovation opportunities.
  • Implement a Knowledge Management Tool for Talent Management, as a project leader, and execute a change management plan for the correct adoption of the tool.

  • You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant fields.


  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in similar functions, working with HR metrics, data analytics, systems, and processes. Experience in international organizations is a plus.


  • Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish is required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
