UNICEF GSSC is seeking for HR Associate (Curriculum Developer/Instructor) to design and develop both online e-learning and face-to-face curriculum development using a variety of development tools.
The HR Associate will present curriculum both face-to-face at the GSSC facility and via the broadcast studio to UNICEF staff worldwide.
Key functions/accountabilities:
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs
Support the identification of learning needs within UNICEF as directed by GLC Governance committee
Collaborate with SMEs to understand the learning needs and to determine the best method for presenting learning opportunities
Development of training programmes
Develop concept papers on programme needs
Design and develop learning initiatives by assessing costs, creating roadmaps and monitoring progress
Work with SMEs to prove and refine concepts as required
Share learning materials and programmes on Agora
Use of latest methods and technology to develop innovative learning outputs
Support the HR Specialist by carrying out background research on lessons learned for knowledge development and identification of best practices
Research and report on best and cutting-edge technologies for learning development
Develop expertise in the recommended tools for development
Deliver training as needed (using classroom and/or webinar modalities)
Work with administrative support to schedule the delivery of course content
Deliver classroom and webinar training to UNICEF staff worldwide

Education:
Completion of secondary education (i.e. high school diploma) is required, preferably supplemented by university courses in either Instructional Design, Adult Education, Human Resources, Public/Business Administration or any other relevant field.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in Curriculum Design and/or e- learning development is required. A completed university degree from an accredited institution will be counted towards the minimum work experience requirements
Instructional Design experience is required
Knowledge of E-Learning management systems is desirable
Experience with e-learning development tools, such as Captivate, Vyond, Articulate, etc. is desirable
Proven adult learning training facilitation expertise is desirable
Video editing experience is an asset
Language:
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
Knowledge of an additional UN Language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is a strong asset.
