The Internal Communications Team is central to the organisation and has the privilege to work with staff across the world to ensure they are personally motivated and proud of their own part in Oxfam's work. The Internal Communications Team is based in Oxford, UK but works across the organisation to connect staff with each other, encourage collaboration, and involve staff in our future direction.

The Role:

You will deliver high impact internal communications by designing and implementing communications plans which place people at the heart of Oxfam; highlighting core Oxfam issues; bringing together global, regional and national campaigns expertise; and highlighting Oxfam's campaign, policy and influencing work. You will work with diverse teams in the UK and globally to develop communications strategies, build staff engagement, and identify opportunities for staff to connect and collaborate. You will create and maintain relationships across the organisation, including with internal communications specialists, campaigners and more. In a developing, global, fast-paced organisation you will come up with creative ways to generate staff engagement, including innovative ways to use appropriate online platforms, digital and multimedia communications.

The Person:

We need an exceptional communications professional with considerable demonstrated experience of working in communications, ideally for an international organisation. The candidate must have experience of the key responsibilities, including working with a wide variety of audiences, developing and delivering communications plans, managing internal communications, knowledge and expertise of multimedia communications, and building staff engagement. The candidate must show demonstrable impact in using internal communications. An interest and background in campaigns and influencing is also an advantage.
