The Internal Audit and Investigations Group (IAIG) improves operations by providing independent and impartial assurance and advice. IAIG supports the achievement of UNOPS’ (The United Nations Office for Project Services) objectives by strengthening the accountability system through the provision of internal audit, investigation, and advisory services.
Summary of functions:
Under the overall dual supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the Data Analytics Officer, the Intern will provide support to the IAIG department.
Impact of Results:
The role is expected to provide support for UNOPS’ delivery against its mandate and protecting UNOPS reputation. The effective and successful achievement of results by the Intern will contribute to the effective management of cyber risks as well as continuous assessment of transactions and processes across key high-risk information systems.
Education: To be eligible for this internship with UNOPS, you must be currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance/Cybersecurity or Data Analytics. Otherwise, you should have completed a university degree in one of these fields within the past 3 years.
