The mission of the Corporate Information Technologies Department (CIT) is to use technology to enable IFC’s strategic priorities. By acting as the technology partner and business enabler, the department provides state-of-art IT solutions to support IFC’s operations.

CIT is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated IT Analyst, Project Management, to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse team of highly skilled professionals and contribute to IFC’s priorities. The position will be based in Washington DC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track resource allocations and expenditures and prepare budget analysis reports.
  • Assist more senior project managers in the day-to-day aspects of managing projects or programs, such as developing project or program artifacts, communicating with team members, managing the project or program schedule and dependencies, managing risks and issues, posting of status reports, generating metrics, checking on the quality and timeless of work
  • Participate in the gathering and documenting of business requirements, testing and system implementation.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for RFPs.
  • Prepare workshops and project status meetings with agendas, background materials, draft minutes.
  • Manage expectations for project deliverables, client communications, and help to implement an effective project oversight and governance.
  •   Manage the relationship with all stakeholders including third party vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • May lead a component of a project or a less complex project such as one with a small project team (1-3 staff), with few interfaces, few technologies, and moderate risk to the business.

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Project Management or relevant area or Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Role Specific Experience: Experience in Business Analysis, IT project management, SDLC, and SCRUM/Agile methodologies, and budget management.
  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) is a plus
  • Experience working on Financial, or Banking Systems is a plus.
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor and global environment is a plus
  • Stays abreast of modern technology trends in project management area, and the broader IT industry.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent presentation and documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including collaborating, and team building.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Solid understanding of and proven experience in, Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps or equivalent.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view.
