Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Power Apps to automate IT services tasks and workflows.
  • Implement software tools to automate monitoring activities and clean-up processes.
  • Draft and maintain system and desktop configuration documentation and reports. 
  • Support the development of apps for IT asset recording using mobile cameras and barcode scanning. 
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and provide recommendations for process improvement. 
  • Perform other related duties as required in support of IT service operations, and other ad-hoc activities.

Requirements:

  • Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first-level university degree programme programme (i.e. Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree); be enrolled in a graduate school programme (i.e. Master's degree or equivalent degree, or higher) or have completed an aforementioned academic degree, preferably in the area of computer sciences, software engineering, programming or a related field, AND, if selected, must commence the internship on the date indicated in the Acceptance letter. 
  • Skills in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) are an asset.
  • Experience in database management, process automation, and application development.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning technologies and mobile application development is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
  • Good organizational and communication skills with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
