Panagora seeks an IT professional experienced with network management and oversight of office IT operations. The IT Manager, working closely with the operations team, will partner with the business vendors to innovate and drive continuous improvement enabled by IT solutions and tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise managed service provider and IT help desk
  • Oversee tools’ licensing, software/hardware inventory and other technical assets
  • Administer devices and support employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Improve and troubleshoot A/V and connectivity across offices
  • Evaluate and lead new IT initiatives in collaboration with the knowledge management team
  • Manage company-wide security software, updates, and compliance
  • Ensure company compliance to all IT related contract requirements
  • Manage roles and permissions across all software in collaboration with the knowledge management team
  • Evaluate usability and security tradeoffs for new tools, seats, and software requests
  • Manage and administer our communications infrastructure (Gmail, Slack, Calendar, Skype, Zoom, SharePoint) in collaboration with the knowledge management team
  • Drive improvements to public and internal information architecture
  • Develop and operationalize IT processes and policies in a clear, consistent, and holistic way in collaboration with the knowledge management and communications teams
  • Apply a proactive and organized approach to IT operations across all locations in collaboration with the knowledge management team


  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Five or more years of IT work experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications, collaboration platforms, document management systems, and security practices and administration of security software
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) methodologies preferred
  • Experience developing budgets
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and to form strong relationships internally
  • Ability to think strategically around trade-offs and short term vs. long term benefits
  • A collaborative and positive mindset
