The position of Knowledge Management Administrator is assigned to the People's Republic of China Resident Mission (PRCM) within the East Asia Department (EARD). You will be based at our Resident Mission Office in Beijing, PRC.

You will report to designated Technical International Staff and Officer (as applicable).

As a Knowledge Management Analyst, you will help organize and support knowledge-sharing programs, with a significant focus on supporting the strategic and operational work of the Regional Knowledge Sharing Initiative (RKSI).

You will:

  • Organize knowledge-sharing events, prepare concept notes, agendas and coordinate with speakers and participants, including those from other developing member countries, to ensure efficient execution of knowledge transfer.
  • Evaluate events and analyze feedback through post-event evaluations and knowledge demand surveys, and propose improvements based on insights.
  • Facilitate collaboration with knowledge partners, engaging with regional DMCs, government agencies, and internal departments to strengthen knowledge network and promote collaborative knowledge programs.
  • Support knowledge sharing and research programs with RKSI and with other departments to promote regional knowledge integration and contribute to strategic goals.
  • Conduct data analysis for knowledge products, providing insights through data analysis and combining policy developments, supporting cross-sectoral collaboration and regional programs. Support knowledge transfer through regional cooperation and integration programs under EARD— including the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Economic Cooperation Program, Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program, and others.
  • Prepare and implement TA project documentation, developing concept papers, progress updates, and completion reports while following ADB's guidelines.
  • Manage project budgets and track expenditures, helping manage budgets, procurement processes, contracts and financial oversight.
  • Help produce knowledge products (KPs) by overseeing the creation and distribution of blogs, reports, and infographics, ensuring consistency with ADB branding and editorial standards.
  • Coordinate digital outreach by managing ADB's digital platforms, including the website and social media channels, ensuring sharing and active engagement.
  • Support knowledge-related planning and coordination by facilitating inputs for internal planning documents, responding to queries, and providing operational support for knowledge-related programs.

Qualifications :

You will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in one or more of these fields: multimedia, journalism, public policy, economics, business, commerce, international relations, environment, and health.
  • At least 5 years of experience in knowledge management, distribution, or sharing, within an international development or multilateral organization.
  • Understanding of knowledge distribution and public communications.
  • With the ability to handle complex issues and meet goals within deadlines.
  • With experience engaging with government agencies, academics, international organizations, and media.
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
