Job Description

Tearfund is looking for a Livelihoods and Business Manager who will responsible for designing, managing and ensuring delivery of all Livelihoods programming in the Central African Republic.

The postholder will manage the Livelihoods and Business components of the DFID funded UK Aid Match project in addition to scoping and designing new Livelihoods focused interventions and supporting the development of the wider programme strategy.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant area,
  • Direct experience of designing and managing Livelihoods/economic recovery projects
  • Experience of working with startup /small scale businesses as well as community based saving methodologies
  • S/he will also be fluent in French and English, be willing to work in insecure environments, be sensitive to cross cultural issues and able to lead a team across different field site.
