Project Overview and Role
Palladium is seeking a Malaria Advisor for the USAID Strategic Technical Assistance for Improved Health System Performance and Health Outcomes (STAIP) Activity. The STAIP activity covers objectives that are intended to improve the health system's performance and strengthen delivery of primary maternal and child health, family planning and malaria services in public health facilities operating under the Ministry of Health in Liberia.
Responsibilities
Working with and aligning to the priorities of the National Malaria Control Program, the Malaria Advisor needs to be able to lead and provide strategic advice to the Contractor and partners to improve malaria outcomes in addition to supporting county level staff at the various county health teams to improve malaria service delivery. The Malaria Advisor will serve as the main point of contact for all technical malaria interventions related to the award and is expected to provide overall technical and strategic leadership to the award for all malaria related interventions/outcomes, including design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of malaria interventions.
