Position Snapshot:

The Manager of Digital Communications and Marketing will help shape and execute a revised and revitalized vision of the IAIM Network and how it will support and empower immunization managers around the world. The IAIM Network (International Association of Immunization Managers) helps immunization managers across the globe get answers, grow in their role and raise their collective voices by enabling them to connect, elevate, navigate and learn. The Manager will perform a wide-range of marketing and communications activities for the IAIM Network, including developing programmatic content, engaging partners for shared and developed content and managing backend web operations and digital assets.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and implement marketing and digital strategies to promote the IAIM Network.

Web Platform and Digital Strategy

  • Work closely with IAIM team in the selection and beta testing of potential online platforms
  • Manage IAIM website, including learning elements, all backend updates and web vendor oversight
  • Work with leadership team to define digital marketing strategy, tactics, roadmap and milestones
  • Apply social listening tools and analytics for targeting of relevant influencers
  • Regularly compile and analyze metrics for website and social channels; making adjustments based on analytics

Marketing and Content

  • Devise content strategies to drive engagement and online traffic to the website and social media channels
  • Manage branding, messaging and deployment of content through website, emails, social media, videos, webinars and events
  • Interface with members and partners on content development and surveys
  • Work closely with IAIM team to develop engaging membership communications, graphics and content
  • Design a range of promotional materials, including presentations, brochures, emails and marketing materials
  • Monitor and disseminate news across all channels
  • Regularly collect travel and meeting photos, videos and updates and follow-up with use in social media, presentations and marketing materials
  • Design and execute webinars
  • Support events and conferences with design and production of all meeting materials and promotion

Project Management

  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar for the IAIM Network
  • Manage photography, graphic and video resources for the IAIM Network; catalog and archive all digital assets, using systemic nomenclature and code for usage permission level
  • Other related duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as marketing, communications or graphic design
  • 7+ years relevant experience; past digital and graphics experience required
  • Experience working with lower-income countries and understanding the breadth of constraints that they face
  • Knowledge of current digital marketing techniques and best practices
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective communications strategies
  • Exceptional writing with an ability to boil down complex issues into compelling messaging, targeting a variety of audiences
  • Experience with productively blending online and offline skill building and/or networking
  • HTML, SEO and SEM experience
  • Experience with social and web analytics
  • Social listening and influencer marketing experience
  • Experience with human-centered design
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage complex tasks, highly organized, flexible, dependable and able to prioritize competing demands in order to meet deadlines
  • Superior service orientation
  • Effectively manage projects so problems are anticipated and solutions identified quickly
  • Listens carefully to feedback and comments from staff and adapts plans/actions accordingly
