The (MEAL Specialist- Grant project), Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning specialist’s main responsibility is to ensure the quality of the assigned grant funded project implemented by World Vision Lanka. The MEAL specialist will be based in the project office and s/he will report to the project manager directly and will matrix report to the MEAL Manager within the Grants Acquisition & Management (GAM) team. S/he should develop an effective MEAL system for the project and support to implement a MEAL system at the National level.
The purpose of the MEAL system for grants funded project is to support well-informed management, to enable rigorous accountability for performance, to support learning, and to contribute evidence to improve program practices and new project proposal development for project team and Grants Acquisition & Management.
