Monitoring and Learning Consultant

The Consultant is  expected to provide the needed technical expertise to ensure proper data collection, programme monitoring, quality assurance and sharing of best practices across the different governorates, through the application of their skills in monitoring, researching, collecting, and analyzing technical programme information.

The work assignment will cover the key areas of support highlighted below:

Provide day to day technical and operational support to MFP programme implementation ensuring quality assurance mechanisms are implemented.
Ensure the proper mobilization of the CLM+ platforms across all Makani Centers.
Capture and document lessons learned from Makani implementation across the different centers and governorates to feed in and strengthen quality programme implementation.

  • Provide technical and operational support throughout the programme implementation by preparing related materials/documentation/data to facilitate follow-up on programme implementation and reporting and documenting programme best practices and lessons learned.    Programme and center briefing notes, documentation developed and shared.    End of December 2023

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

  • University degree in Education, Social Sciences or any other related field. 
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in project management
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset. 
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset. 
  • Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required: Data management, writing skills, communication skills, proficiency in using Microsoft tools, capacity to work autonomously.
