Purpose of the Position, Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Deputy Representative, the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing integrated monitoring and evaluation strategies in support of the country program.

He / She will be responsible for supporting the other components of the program in monitoring child-friendly, equity-focused strategies and providing accurate analysis of the situation of children and women in the Congo. He / she will also emphasize the development of national capacity to monitor child-friendly local participatory plans, results-based management, equity-based gender approach.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Have at least a university degree in social sciences, development planning, planning, evaluation, implementation of surveys, advanced statistical research.
  • Being of Congolese nationality (RC).
  • Have at least two years of professional experience in positions of responsibility in the field of planning, monitoring and evaluation of programs and good experience in the processing of statistics, collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Ability to analyze, conceptualize and write.
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Ability to establish harmonious and effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate.
  • Good knowledge of the computer tool and its common applications as well as those related to research.
  • Proficient in French and very good oral and written English. Knowledge of local languages ​​spoken in the country would be an asset.
