Jan Sahas founded in 2000, is an Indian non-profit organization working towards building awareness and community empowerment of the most socially excluded communities, primarily in the domains of forced labor, and sexual violence against women and children.
Project Description:
We are in the process of carrying out an in-depth study on sexual violence against children in residential institutions that provide for children. The data generated by the study will be used to formulate policy recommendations and develop interventions to transform the conditions that enable sexual violence in these institutions and make them safe and child friendly. As part of this study, we seek to understand the scale of reported sexual violence cases in residential institutions in Nepal.
Role:
We are looking for interns to work remotely-to carry out secondary research, documentation of cases of institutional abuse in Nepal.
Duration:
15 days. The successful candidates will be expected to join immediately.
A stipend and certificate would be provided on completion of the task.
