Tautai – Governance for Economic Growth Program will consolidate and build on Australia’s previous investments supporting the Government of Samoa (GoS) to improve fiscal management and promote equitable economic growth. The program will support Australia’s engagement with the GoS and other development partners in policy-driven budget support arrangements, and to complement and support Australia’s other major bilateral investment through the Tautua Samoa Human Development and Social Inclusion program, working in health, education, and social protection.
The Role
As a member of the Tautai Senior Management Team, this role is responsible for leading and managing the operations and finance functions of the program. The responsibilities of the Operations and Finance Manager will include:
Overall responsibility for program financial management
Working with the Tautai team to ensure appropriate and transparent HR processes, including recruitment, due diligence and onboarding processes
Ensuring quality and integrity of administrative and financial systems and procedures, through implementing and disseminating the Tautai Operations Manual and any other relevant project guidelines
Overseeing fraud and anti-corruption management across all financial activities to ensure a zero-tolerance culture across the program, ensuring DFAT is notified of any suspected or detected fraud cases
Deploying DT Global policy procedures, tools and templates to partners, grant recipients, and service providers in line with DFAT and DT Global requirements. Work with the Tautai teams to ensure they communicate contractual requirements effectively to program stakeholders
Overseeing all health, safety and security aspects of the program including incident reporting, updating health and safety plans at least every six months, socialising them with the program team and providing training as required
