You have: 

  • Formal education in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in English and French (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing operational services in HR functional areas such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, compensation and benefits or a similar environment.
  • An understanding of Human Resource Management platforms and their use related to employee records, staffing and recruitment.
  • An enhanced knowledge of organizational administration services and coordination responsibilities. 
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy in the handling of confidential information. 

You are: 

  • Committed to making a meaningful impact to the continued support of international development via the coordination of HR operational services and administrative tasks.
  • Organized and proactive in your approach to problem solving.
  • A strong communicator with proven experience liaising both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Driven and able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines keeping in mind wider organizational objectives.
  • A team player, who understands the importance of collaboration.

You are interested in: 

  • Preparing of recruitment documentation/material required to advertise IDRC opportunities to greater international development communities. 
  • Providing information, interpretation, and guidance to employees to enhance their employee experience within IDRC. 
  • Maintaining and updating internal employee records. 
  • Leading the coordination of recruitment processes following the collective agreement and all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.
