The Organisation
With a vision of a just and thriving Asia powered by renewable energy, Tara Climate is a new and rapidlyexpanding philanthropic initiative, previously hosted by the European Climate Foundation, focusing on South, Southeast, and East Asia, supporting think tanks, civil society, research organisations, and other non-state actors. Tara Climate plays three main roles in the region: providing grants to partners, developing and assessing strategy, and convening partners within and across borders. In Vietnam, we work with different organizations to promote the clean energy transition.

The Role
With the expansion of the Vietnam program, the advisor will lead the coordination, facilitation, development and communication of the partner capacity-building program. Reporting to the program director and working closely with the program team you will evaluate program implementation, including monitoring deliverables and submissions from grantees and partners, providing general oversight to their timeliness and quality. Skills Required
You are at the early stages of your project or program management career in the field of development with experience ideally in renewable energy transition/climate change and including capacity building and monitoring and evaluation in a Vietnamese policy context.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English with concrete examples of grant management experience and working with diverse partnerships and stakeholders. You have excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and networking abilities, and are able to quickly become familair with complex and unfamiliar subjects. One of your qualifications is ideally in Energy, Public Policy, Development Studies or a related field.
