UNICEF Moldova is the implementing partner of the EU4Moldova: Focal Regions Programme, based on the European Commission Implementing Decision on the Annual Action Programme 2018 in favour of the Republic of Moldova, funded by the European Union and implemented in partnership with UNDP.
The overall objective of the five-year programme is to strengthen the economic, territorial and social cohesion in the Republic of Moldova through facilitating inclusive, sustainable and integrated local socio-economic growth and improving the standards of living of children, adolescents and all citizens in the two focal regions Cahul and Ungheni.
How can you make a difference?
Under the supervision of the Education Officer, the Programme Associate supports the implementation of the EU4Moldova Focal Regions Programme by carrying out a range of programme support functions to help develop, implement and monitor the programme, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF and EU rules and regulations. The incumbent will be responsible for all the financial and administrative tasks of the project including monitoring budget expenditures and maintaining proper record of approved budgets and their revisions, accurate financial reporting in accordance to UNICEF and EU standards, prepare recurring reports as required for budget/financial preparations, verifications and audit. The Programme Associate will be overall responsibility for the coordination of administrative, financial, procurement and contracting matters ensuring conformity to expected results and project work-plans.
