The Organisation

Ember is an international independent energy and climate think tank, using data to drive down carbon emissions from electricity generation and to phase-out coal. Ember gathers, curates and analyses data on the global power system and uses the findings to shift the conversation towards high impact energy and climate policies and to empower other advocates to do the same.

The successful candidate will be joining at a period of rapid growth and be part of an innovative team that’s having a global impact in tackling climate change.

Ember’s work is aligned with the objectives of the Paris Agreement limiting global warming to well below 2C, preferably to 1.5C and the goal to reach global peaking of emissions as soon as possible achieving a climate neutral world by midcentury.
