Programme Specialist

As a Programme Specialist - Child Nutrition Fund with UNICEF’s Child Nutrition Fund (CNF), you will play a central role in mobilizing resources and building strategic alliances to combat child malnutrition globally. Reporting to the Senior Adviser, Financing for Child Nutrition and Development, you will lead efforts to secure funding, develop high-impact proposals, and strengthen relationships with bilateral, multilateral, and private-sector partners.

Responsibilities:

  • You will represent CNF in critical forums, advocating for its mission while engaging with donors and partners to drive sustainable funding.
  • Your role includes developing compelling funding proposals, tracking donor priorities, and ensuring transparent reporting to maintain accountability. 
  • By collaborating with UNICEF teams and external stakeholders, you will help shape CNF’s resource mobilization strategy and amplify its global impact.

Education:

Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Public Health, Economics, International Development, Social Science , public health, economics, international development, social sciences and any other related fields

Work Experience: 

At least 8 years of relevant work experience in Nutrition, Development, International Development , Programme Specialist, Child Nutrition Fund, Resource Mobilization, Donor Engagement, Proposal Development, Donor Reporting, Partnerships, Stakeholder Engagement.

Skills:

Partnership building, Strategic thinking, Donor engagement, Proposal development, Report writing, Data analysis.

Languages:

Fluency in English is required.
