Depending on the country context, child protection systems may cut across part of the social welfare, education, health, and security sectors.
How can you make a difference?
The Programme Division is taking steps to strengthen Knowledge Management (KM) function.You will be responsible for managing all aspects of knowledge management in the division, including coordination across sections and with other divisions, development, planning and management of the KM strategy, standards and initiatives, and monitoring the effectiveness of KM functions and its contributions to results.
Specifically, you will work in the following areas of responsibility:
Strategic Leadership: Lead the Programme Division’s knowledge management function, including the development and implementation of a ivision-wide strategy of Knowledge Management and assessment of its contributions to broader strategies and policies around evidence generation and use.
Knowledge Management and Plans:
Establishment and management of IT tools for KM: Support the development and management of reliable, innovative electronic platform and tools to facilitate knowledge management within the Division and across other divisions and facilitate alignment of ICT initiatives related to KM such as Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
Coordination and Partnership: Coordinate with sections to strengthen the synergy of key KM initiatives, collaborate with regional/country office for improved complementarities and coherence of KM vis-à-vis strategic organization results.
Monitoring and reporting: Monitor and report on key KM performance objectives attributable to the Division and sections, and advise Senior Management on areas of shortfall, provide key inputs to documentation and reporting on KM and evidence generation and use .
