The Programme Specialist will work under guidance of Chief of Polio Eradication and work closely Communication for Eradication, Management & Accountability and Monitoring & Evaluation task teams of Emergency Operations Centre for general guidance and direction.
This post is to provide technical and program support to the provincial polio eradication activities in areas of operations (Community Based Vaccination) and communications. The incumbent will be responsible for the work of Polio Eradication Team in Sindh office by advising and supervising them and facilitating their work. He/she will make independent decisions on corrective actions necessary to achieve the objective in his/her area of responsibility. He/she reports to the Chief of Polio Eradication to achieve cessation of transmission of Polio from Pakistan by the year 2022 through supplementary immunization and strengthening routine immunization.
