About the Role
This is Asia Regional Platform role which is to provide strong operational and financial management support in order to achieve project goals which in turn will help strengthen Oxfam’s impact for Urban Resilience by ensuring that, through working in partnership with a team of experts and diversity of organizations, it delivers on its goals of adding value in four key areas: linking and convening, providing technical expertise and capacity development, providing access to information, and channeling donor funds to partners for high quality programme delivery.
It is a support function role covering the aspects of project coordination, financial management, communication, maintaining good relationship with partners, financial management, knowledge management and monitory & quality management related to project cycle.
Skills and Competencies:
The candidate should possess high level financial and project management skills, ability to work creatively, innovatively and effectively within multi-cultural teams and cultural contexts, work independently; a self starter who can work within a framework and with some support. Experience working within an international NGO, managing finance of big projects, in particular working across different countries and/or regions.
