Under the direct management of the Emergency/Recovery Coordinator and while respecting HI procedures, you will be responsible of the overall management of the Ambulance fleet/Decontamination project, and more especially:
To supervise and coordinate the decontamination and the dismantlement of the decontamination site, as well as the proper closure of the project activities (80%),
To set up and ensure a residual capacity for patient transportation and house decontamination in Western area (20%, activity to be confirmed).
This includes the management of the team under your responsibility (the Project Administrator, the Project Logistician and the IPC Manager), the management of the project budget, reporting and external coordination with operational partners.
A Master in Humanitarian Assistance or similar,
2 years of professional experience as a Base Manager, Field Coordinator or Logistics Manager/Coordinator in an emergency context, or at least an experience in complex project management,
Excellent skills in team management and successful experience in managing international staffs,
An excellent written and spoken level in English.
A positive, constructive and persuasive person with strong organizational and interpersonal skills,
Flexible and able to work under pressure and without constant supervision,
Able to lead a team and to create a good team work atmosphere,
Able to delegate and control,
Able to carry and impart the position and values of the organization,
Able to represent the organisation and to work and coordinate with various stakeholders (governmental, inter-governmental and non-governmental).
