- BY Nicole Pelette
Chemonics seeks a senior-level project manager for the anticipated two-year Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Global Fund) Malawi In-country Supply Chain Integration Project Management Team. The activity will embed a project management team (PMT) within the Central Medical Stores Trust in Malawi to champion implementation of activities in the integration roadmap and identify opportunities to improve and sustain in-country operations. This activity will support the Ministry of Health’s priority of supply chain integration, with the end goal of achieving a fully country-led, patient-centered, integrated supply chain by December 2020. All team members will be based in Lilongwe, and candidates from the region are encouraged to apply. The anticipated start date is March 1, 2019. The senior project manager will lead the PMT to implement the integration roadmap and coordinate with all key stakeholders. He or she will also be responsible for the development of the implementation of a national supply chain (procurement, warehouse, and distribution) strategy to achieve a successful phased integration of the Malawi Health commodities supply chain. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
