The Role

We aim to manage the More than Bride Alliance Project “Marriage; No Child’s Play” and its overall direction, coordination, support partners’ implementation, execution, quality and financial control. Also the monitoring and administration of the MTBA project ensuring consistency with donor requirements, organizational Oxfam goals, project commitments and planned outcomes and goals.

What Skills Are We Looking For

This position will lead, develop and deliver Annual Plans and strategies related complying to all Oxfam systems compliance requirements. Provide strategic input and develop a long-term vision for Oxfam’s Gender Justice Programme. To support Oxfam in The Hague in strengthening its advocacy framework for More than Bride alliance. Provide advice and guidance to the team to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the project team and use of resources. Moreover, to effectively contributes to the Programme reviews including Programme quality reviews.


  • Master's degree in a related field from recognized university with 5 - 7 years’ work experience
  • In-depth knowledge and first-hand experience of project design and management
  • Well-developed skills and demonstrated experience in facilitating multi-stakeholder processes and negotiations
  • Excellent understanding and previous work experience in Gender Justice, SRHR Child Early and Forced Marriages, Women rights issues and patriarchy.
  • Good influencing and advocacy skills about SRHR, women’s and girls’ equal rights, discriminatory policies and practices resulting in their exclusion.
  • Good understanding of democratic governance, civic engagement and gender-mainstreaming
  • Possess behaviours, characteristics, skills and understanding for effective people management
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills
