WHAT YOU'LL DO
PSG provides a wide range of services to our MDPs and, in particular, manages our MDP compensation and equity programs, as well as processes to support related decisions. The MDP Compensation & Equity processes are complex; follow a set of established guidelines but also have a high degree of nuance and naturally evolve with time. This role will be involved in the processes owned by the Decision Support team, which are key to the holistic assessment of an MDP's annual performance and evaluation as well as determining an MDP's annual remuneration.
In this position, we are looking for a Lead Analyst that will be an integral part of PSG, providing support to our core processes in two key aspects.
First, the Lead Analyst will play a pivotal role in leading a variety of technical analyses and generating new insights for BCG Leadership to help guide their decision making. The Lead analyst will have to clearly understand the business and strategic demands of firm-wide critical initiatives in order to effectively design the most efficient analytical projects to help address their potential challenges and design choices.
In the future, we expect the person in this role to fully understand the MDP compensation and equity model in order to monitor and guide the analytical priorities of the team
Second, the Lead Analyst will use Digital & Analytical capabilities to improve and streamline our most important and necessary PSG processes. Going forward, we expect the person in the role to lead our internal Digital capabilities and seek and pursue new opportunities where to apply them, be that in our “business as usual” processes or expanding our Digital offerings.
As a consequence, the candidate needs an excellent analytical skillset and business sense, as well as good technical knowledge of state-of-the-art Digital tools. The person in the role will work with closely with stakeholder from other BCG finance functions and across PSG, serving as a thought partner to help coordinate and implement critical firm wide initiatives.
