The overarching goal is to raise resources and strengthen partnerships with public and private partners to reach the results for children planned in the Country Programme Document (CPD) 2023-2026 as part of an effort to reach the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) goals and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) linked to children and adolescents.
With this post UNICEF Ecuador is building capacity for a systematic long – term fundraising for both public and private partners (corporate). The incumbent will systematically approach and communicate with top potential partners and provide long-term programme and budget details based on agreed CPD funding gap priorities. The incumbent will build “donor intelligence“by creating profiles and updating donor mapping exercises regularly.
How can you make a difference?
The position reports to the Deputy Representative and liaise with the Private Fundraising Officer, is expected to work collaboratively with the country office management, programme and private sector fundraising colleagues, HQs Divisions, regional offices, between others.
The key result of this post is to support and strengthen the implementation of the Country Office Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Strategy for 2023-2026.

Education: A first level university degree is required in one of the following fields: international relations, political science, communications, international development, business management or another relevant technical field.
Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public affairs, programme management, resource mobilization, external relations, budget management or other relevant area.
