Oxfam is adopting a new operating model where our country teams will be managed through Oxfam International with different Oxfam affiliates responsible to ensure that country teams have effective and efficient operating platforms, systems, policies, processes and capabilities to enable our programme work. To enable this Oxfam International has called on Oxfam GB to support the functional roles to support business delivery of the Oxfam International Regional Platform (OI RP). The OI RP Team comprises of 17 staff, with the regional business support provider (for which this role belongs) providing monitoring/support to the management of regional platform for expenditure and compiling regional reports (based on information provided from affiliates).

OI RP roles are all new and will be clustered by geographic area to work closely with country directors, executing affiliates, partner affiliates investing in countries and where relevant other affiliates.

Job Profile:

We a looking for a new Regional Business Support Finance Coordinator who will ensure accurate recording of OI RP expenditure and produce timely reports of this expenditure against budgets. The RFO will collate and present budget v actual reports based on information provided by EAs within Asia. The RFO will be the focal point for ensuring that OI RP staff and business processes deliver compliance in the country of expenditure and in line with Oxfam GB rules and regulations.

The successful candidate will have the ability to collaborate effectively to deliver on these objectives in concert with a wide range of internal business functions. The RFO will be expected to work seamlessly with country, regional, and head office teams using both face to face and remote communications.

The successful candidate will possess significant experience in financial reporting and financial management; a background in finance; possess a high degree of professional integrity; and most importantly, will share our passion for eliminating the injustice of poverty around the world.

Our RFO will be enthusiastic about joining a newly formed team, will have experience of working in a networked way and in a matrix management environment.

Job Purpose:

The Regional Business Support Finance Coordinator will provide delivery and technical financial assistance to the OI RP.
